- Run Ads in Small Publications – This can be a great way to penetrate the pool of motivated sellers in your market. Many times the mainstream newspaper is an ineffective waste of advertising money. Some of the smaller publications are usually free to pick up and cheaper to advertise in. They can serve as a cheaper way to get the phone ringing with quality leads.
- List Your Website on Everything Your Doing – Your business cards, letterhead, signs, flyers, direct mail pieces, everything! If you don’t already have a website, contact us and we’ll put you in touch with the pros and get you going.
Public Speaking – Speaking to groups in your town, “What I do Is…”. You can create some great business relationships speaking at local business networking groups. These relationships can last a lifetime and be a constant stream of business opportunities.
- The Elevator Speech – One of our early mentors taught us this one. That is, being able to tell somebody in 30 seconds what it is exactly that you do. He said he would get on an elevator, wait for the door to close, then turn around and say, “Well, I guess you’re wondering why I’ve called this meeting. I buy houses in any condition and can close in 7 days if necessary. Call me if you or somebody you know ever NEEDS to sell a house…” and by the time you get off on your floor everybody should know what you do and how to get in touch with you. Crazy, huh?
