How to Infiltrate Success in Real Estate Investing

May 7, 2010 | By | 7 Replies More

Check us out in the video below …

Myself and Mr. Trevor Mauch hanging out poolside at a real estate investing conference recently.

As many of you know, Trevor is my partner in the Private Money Blueprint. And, we don’t get to hang out much since we live on opposite sides of the country … so it was cool to actually hang out in person.

We were kicking around some ideas and thoughts from the conference and wanted to share some insights with ya on infiltrating success in real estate investing.

Join us by the pool …

Good stuff ehhh?

It’s been said, “You’re the average of the 5 people you hang out with most.”

Are you hanging out with successful real estate investors on a regular basis?

P.S. – And here’s some randomness for ya … ever wondered what was at the end of the rainbow?

Great video guys!! Totally agree with all that you’re saying… I wanted to add that attending local real estate club meetings is huge (like you said P-Rid). But there is still value in attending club meetings and seminars even if you are the most experienced investor at the meeting. That happens to us quite often at the meetings we attend outside of Vancouver. BUT we still learn things!! It’s not just the most successful people in the room that you can learn from. There are always little tips you can pick up and insights you can learn. And sometimes it’s just, like you said, being around like minded people as much as you can that raises your game!

I wish it would have worked out so I could have joined you guys in LA – next time!!

You’re right Julie. Experienced and beginners alike, networking is extremely valuable for all.

Would have been awesome had you been able to attend the conference. Maybe next time, ehhh? :-)

  4. First of all, the two of you looked mighty dapper together “in the flesh” poolside I must say! Really though, you guys bring to light so many good reasons for networking. How about “the whole (group) is greater than the sum of its parts (individuals).” All successful people must remain connected in order to grow their knowledge, remain up-to-date, add to the their team, and ultimately flourish in business.

Patrick, you and I should check out an event at CofC’s Carter Center. Been to a few myself. Some real good research-based RE material and not a bad networking opportunity

    Yo Dave,

Your quote is very true. I’ve always looked at real estate investing as a team sport. The whole is much greater than the sum of its parts!

Yeah, maybe I can catch that CofC event with you sometime.
