Welcome to . . .

The BEST Creative Real Estate Investing Blog on the Web! . . . and yes!! We mean that literally!

I could not believe what I had just done…

It was November 2002. We took a few days from our “busy” college studies to go to a seminar in Atlanta. A nervous excitement filled the air. We had just made a decision that would change the rest of our lives.

The summer before, myself and a couple friends had heard that real estate was lucrative. We met a guy who owned a handful of properties, and he said that it didn’t matter whether he worked or not, he was banking about $2,000 a month cash flow. This got our attention!

It so inspired us to venture deep into the unknown…Barnes & Noble. I had never been much of a reader growing up. I got through school reading cliff notes if even that. And we found ourselves checking out books in the real estate section and couldn’t believe some of the titles. We ended up buying two books. One was “How to Make Millions in Real Estate in 3 Years with No Cash” and “Making Big Money in Real Estate without Tenants, Banks, or Rehab Projects.” We had no reason to doubt their claims at the time so we dove right in.

Personally, I still remember what it felt like reading those first few pages. I thought I’d found the holy grail! This was what I was talking about. I had never really believed in the whole 9 to 5 thing but didn’t know what alternatives existed.

Five months later, my friends and I had purchased our first investment property . . .

My First Deal!!!!! HOORAY!

and cut school to go to a 5-day seminar in Atlanta, and decided that we weren’t going back spring semester.

My Life Today

You’ve just found the BEST creative real estate investing blog on the internet! I’m not bragging here. I know this because I’ve scoured the web.
