Isn’t it great to know that your life’s pursuits can change in an instant of an AHA moment. This is what I tell my children. However, they must fill their brains with substantive content rather than the junk and noise that is pervasive in their young adolescent minds. Esi its good to know that you have had success in you wholesaling pursuits and that makes me strive harder to reach my goals and challenges. Great work Esi!

Real Estate more than anything requires action. By so doing, you closed on your first deal that has led you at your present position. It’s a reminder that there’s got to be a start; and starting’s got to be wherever one happens to be. That means locally to get a feel for your market.

    Hi Esi,
You give me motivation. Thanks for your video. I currently have a property that I am sort of stuck with I have alot of people calling to look at it but really no one has come foward with an offer I am stressed out because I put it under contract about 2 weeks ago. I even dropped the price. What would be your suggestion?

Esi: Thanks Veronica. I understand your frustration especially if this is your first deal. Some of the challenges you will face is getting houses that investors are looking for, not just any good deal. There are a lot of good deals out there, but finding the kind of houses cash buyers are looking for is the key. One thing you can do is try to sell it through a local wholesaler and share the profit. Also analyze your marketing strategy and ramp it up (bandit signs, direct mail, website, free classifieds like craigslist, other wholesalers, word of mouth, REIA clubs) etc).If you still have more questions, be sure to send me an email through my blog and I’ll be happy to help.

Hi Jem, good to see you are taking action. It’s difficult, I know. If it was easy, everyone will be doing it. Just keep working hard and once you get your first deal, you will see the light. When I first started, I thought I wasn’t going to ever get my first deal, because every lead I thought was a deal seem to be falling apart, but one analogy that kept me going was i felt I was close to the top of the mountain and all i needed to do was get to the top and it will be smooth sailing afterwards. It helped me a great deal get through all the disappointments and it still does. I hope it works for you.
