Below, you’ll get a chance to check out each participating REI blogger. Each has his or her own custom profile that includes a link to their blog, their 3 main social media links, Twitter, Facebook, and Youtube, and a “Tweet About Your Fav Blogger” link.
Sooooo we need you … our readers, our subscribers, our listeners, our watchers … to research each real estate investing blogger below and vote on your favorite, on who you think has the #1 real estate investing blog, on who you think should be crowned “Battle of the REI Blogs 2009″ CHAMPION!

Just came to check out the last part of the CIA series and saw you have this contest going on. Great job and maybe it’s just me, maybe because I’ve been a subscriber for over a year now, maybe I’m jumping the gun here, but I have to vote for mustknowinvesting.com as my favorite source of REI info.

Having said all that, I cast my vote for Julie Broad and RevNYou because I have more of a personal relationship with her — though we’ve never met — which made a difficult decision a tad bit easier.

Wow. What a great idea. No matter who wins this, we all win because we’re given the opportunity to check out some really good blogs folks we may not have been privy too. Patrick, JP, Trevor, Ron Mead and Larry Goins. All top-notch investors and all around good guys who’ve I’ve learned a lot from in reading their blogs.
For me though, it’s coming down to the Tampa Steph and Shae Bynes. I consider them both good friends and great people and awesome investors. I’ve known and followed Steph since she was a relative newby over at Flippinghomes.com and always admired her for telling it like it is and always being willing to share and help other investors. Although I’ve known her for a shorter period of time, I have seen the same willingness to help others in Shae and since she seems to think she is the underdog here, I’ll cast my vote for Shae Bynes of Good Faith Investing. But hands down without a doubt I have to cast my vote for Steph. I’ve followed her from flippinghomes.com to where she is now and her adventure has been nothing short of amazing. From bartender to struggling investor to successful investor to successful investor who I, personally think, is looking for more challenges. And omg you can’t discount her wit and humor. It’s truly an easy and entertaining and definitely educational blog to read.

All of these blogs are quite impressive but I guess that I am a bit biased in my voting. Many of these blogs pertain to flipping houses or developing rental properties neither of which I am interested in. I am not really interested in going after foreclosures yet. So that leaves the area of probate properties and that mean that my main man, Ron Mead, gets my vote.
I think that everyone would have to admit that his blog makes outstanding use of color, photos, and content to deliver a very effective message. Additionally, Ron have a superb info letter that all of his subscribers look forward to.
Ron’s information have been solely responsible for my start and success in probate properties. Even though my start has been slow, my knowledge base is solid and this is very important to a 71 year old man who knows the value of patience and persistence.

My vote? Ron Mead. I’m specializing in Probate homes and Ron is the Expert. He is knowledgeable, very affordable, there to answer the phone when I have questions, a man of integrity and fun to boot! I don’t know the others as well so I can only speak to my experience. He also will tell it like it is – “To be successful you have to get off the couch, Barb” True statement and I’m doing it. Even so, he is extremely patient with somebody who is learning a whole new profession.
I have known Ron for more than 3 years. He has always been professional, helpful and honest! A true man of integrity. He is certainly #1 in Probate Real Estate and Investment.

Perhaps the most important thing he has done for me is to give me the encouragement through the incredible information he just gives away to believe that as a newbie I have great possibilities for success as a real estate investor – in spite of having next to no money and limited credit.
His enthusiasm is infectious; his knowledge is immense; his understanding of the subject matter is evident in his ability to communicate it clearly, succinctly, and with passion. I have read a lot of real estate focused blogs, trying to find one or two which would get me started on the road to being a successful real estate investor – Peter’s has done that for me. Well, this was a hard one. I’m quite familiar with you, Ron, Larry, JP and Susan… so, I went through everyone’s blogs to give them a fair shot. JP has exactly the same blog content as one of the other bloggers (who I was not familiar with before) So, as much as I like Susan personally, her blog has a lot of content that’s restricted to paying visitors, so she doesn’t get my vote. Larry’s blog is a rehash of October’s paid newsletter and he doesn’t really have much earlier content in it, so he doesn’t get my vote either. It’s down to Patrick, JP and Ron. There was nothing in the $1,000 course that wasn’t in Ron’s, and his was much easier to understand and implement! Shame on me for not hunting out Ron before buying the big dollar program. His updates and blogs are fun, heartwarming, and inspiring. I can tell the guy is a genuine giver-not the taker that I meet in so many other REI courses.

Tough call. I vote for JPMoses of REI Tips. His blog gets a little more personal than the rest. HIs seems more honest than the others but I am not saying the others are dishonest. His content and freebies are very good as well. Also, his blog loads faster than some of the others who seem to get stuck.

Or better yet – how about posting a pie chart representing the percent income you make in real estate transactions as compared to sales of your educational material…. sorry, I’m just tired of being bombarded by the marketing. I admit to having 3 favorite Blogs that I hold in equal esteem. They are JP’s REITips, Trevor’s REIBrain and Patrick’s MustKnowInvesting. Each of these are truly fantastic resources for beginners and seasoned investors alike.
Having the need to choose however, I vote for Trevor’s REI Brain site, in truth, because it delivers resources that I believe myself to be currently most in need of at this stage of my investing education and business. While there exists an annoying popup when I land on any new page at the site, the quality and quantity of freely available materials more than make up for the inconvenience of closing the popups. When Trevor fixes the popup problem, unencumbered navigation of the site will improve what is already a quality experience, particularly for users that have need for what he makes available.
Thanks Trevor . . . and to participants who truly invest of themselves to provide for us quality information and resources at little or no cost to us. You know who you are – and it shows in your work. It is truly appreciated.
From what I have seen, and the value received from each, both Patrick’s and JP’s sites are worthy of far more than simple ‘honorable mentions.’ I deem them to likewise be of the highest quality – and would recommend that any RE investor spend time at each. I am confident that it will be time that is well-spent.

I was so focused on inspiring people to vote for me that I never even placed my vote… for what it’s worth my vote would have gone to Patrick Riddle because thanks to him I have met all of you. Over a year ago I approached him to see if he would be interested in publishing an article I had written. I’d been looking for a like minded website to join forces with – and his was the best I had found in the real estate space. He immediately accepted my offer AND introduced my husband and I to Trevor Mauch.
And now he’s expanded my world to all of the bloggers on this site and so many other wonderful people – and it is such a privilege to know all of you!!
